Craig Hallatt , Composer.
Music is a rich art form. Whether it’s an inspiring accompaniment to enhance a message, or a commitment to compose music from the heart, I’ve embraced these traditions while establishing a few of my own in over thirty years of experience as a composer, conductor and performer. With credits that include Classic FM, BBC and Sky TV and whilst performing alongside superstars such as Rick Wakeman and the amazing musicians of The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, during my career as a composer, I’ve managed to create luminous sounds and express music in unimaginable ways. Take a look around the site, and explore what the gift of music truly is.

Elegy to the War Horse
The music is performed by The Guards Chapel Orchestra and features on the EP of the same name. Reaching No.12 in the classical charts it marked the unveiling of The War Horse Memorial on Friday 8th June 2018. The memorial is the first national memorial dedicated exclusively to the millions of British, Allied and Commonwealth horses, mules and donkeys lost during World War I. The memorial is a larger than life bronze horse created by British sculptor Susan Leyland and it stands on an inscribed stone plinth, close to Ascot Racecourse, which supported the project.
